ܪܘܚܐ ܕܝܢ ܦܫܝܩܐܝܬ ܐܡܪܐ ܕܒܙܒܢܐ ܐܚܪܝܐ ܢܦܪܩܘܢ ܐܢܫ ܐܢܫ ܡܢ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܘܢܐܙܠܘܢ ܒܬܪ ܪܘܚܐ ܛܥܝܬܐ ܘܒܬܪ ܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܕܫܐܕܐ
dsh'd' ywlpn' wbthr Teyth' rwkh' bthr wn'zlwn hymnwth' mn 'nsh 'nsh nprqwn 'khry' dbzbn' 'mr' pshyq'yth dyn rwkh'
But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons,

ܗܠܝܢ ܕܒܐܣܟܡܐ ܕܓܠܐ ܡܛܥܝܢ ܘܡܡܠܠܝܢ ܟܕܒܘܬܐ ܘܟܘܝܢ ܒܬܐܪܬܗܘܢ
bth'rthhwn wkwyn kdbwth' wmmllyn mTeyn dgl' db'skm' hlyn
through the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron;

ܘܟܠܝܢ ܠܡܙܕܘܓܘ ܘܡܦܪܩܝܢ ܡܢ ܡܐܟܠܬܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܒܪܐ ܐܢܝܢ ܠܚܘܫܚܐ ܘܠܬܘܕܝܬܐ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܗܝܡܢܝܢ ܘܝܕܥܝܢ ܫܪܪܐ
shrr' wydeyn dmhymnyn l'ylyn wlthwdyth' lkhwshkh' 'nyn br' d'lh' 'ylyn m'klth' mn wmprqyn lmzdwgw wklyn
forbidding marriage and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

ܡܛܠ ܕܟܠ ܕܒܪܐ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܫܦܝܪ ܗܘ ܘܠܝܬ ܡܕܡ ܕܡܣܠܝ ܐܢ ܒܬܘܕܝܬܐ ܢܬܢܣܒ
nthnsb bthwdyth' 'n dmsly mdm wlyth hw shpyr l'lh' dbr' dkl mTl
For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with thanksgiving.

ܡܬܩܕܫ ܓܝܪ ܒܡܠܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܒܨܠܘܬܐ
wbtslwth' d'lh' bmlth' gyr mthqdsh
For it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer.

ܗܠܝܢ ܐܢ ܬܗܘܐ ܡܠܦ ܠܐܚܝܟ ܡܫܡܫܢܐ ܛܒܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܟܕ ܡܬܪܒܐ ܐܢܬ ܒܡܠܐ ܕܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܛܒܐ ܕܝܠܝܦ ܐܢܬ
'nth dylyp Tb' wbywlpn' dhymnwth' bml' 'nth mthrb' kd mshykh' dyshwe thhw' Tb' mshmshn' l'khyk mlp thhw' 'n hlyn
If you instruct the brothers of these things, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which you have followed.

ܡܢ ܫܘܥܝܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܦܟܝܗܬܐ ܕܣܒܬܐ ܐܫܬܐܠ ܘܕܪܫ ܢܦܫܟ ܒܟܐܢܘܬܐ
bk'nwth' npshk wdrsh 'shth'l dsbth' pkyhth' dyn shweyth' mn
But refuse profane and old wives’ fables. Exercise yourself toward godliness.

ܕܘܪܫܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܦܓܪܐ ܙܒܢܐ ܗܘ ܙܥܘܪܐ ܡܘܬܪ ܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܡܘܬܪܐ ܘܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܫܘܘܕܝܐ ܕܚܝܐ ܕܙܒܢܐ ܗܢܐ ܘܕܥܬܝܕ
wdethyd hn' dzbn' dkhy' shwwdy' lh w'yth mwthr' mdm bkl dyn k'nwth' mwthr zewr' hw zbn' dpgr' gyr dwrsh'
For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now, and of that which is to come.

ܡܗܝܡܢܐ ܗܝ ܡܠܬܐ ܘܫܘܝܐ ܗܝ ܠܡܩܒܠܘܬܗ
lmqblwthh hy wshwy' mlth' hy mhymn'
This saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance.

ܡܛܠ ܗܕܐ ܗܘ ܓܝܪ ܠܐܝܢܢ ܘܡܬܚܣܕܝܢܢ ܕܡܣܒܪܝܢܢ ܒܐܠܗܐ ܚܝܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܡܚܝܢܐ ܕܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܝܬܝܪܐܝܬ ܕܡܗܝܡܢܐ
dmhymn' ythyr'yth klhwn dbnynsh' mkhyn' d'ythwhy khy' b'lh' dmsbrynn wmthkhsdynn l'ynn gyr hw hd' mTl
For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we have set our trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.

ܗܠܝܢ ܐܠܦ ܘܦܩܕ

Command and teach these things.

ܘܠܐ ܐܢܫ ܢܒܣܐ ܥܠ ܛܠܝܘܬܟ ܐܠܐ ܗܘܝ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܠܡܗܝܡܢܐ ܒܡܠܬܐ ܘܒܗܘܦܟܐ ܘܒܚܘܒܐ ܘܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܕܟܝܘܬܐ
wbdkywth' wbhymnwth' wbkhwb' wbhwpk' bmlth' lmhymn' dmwth' hwy 'l' Tlywthk el nbs' 'nsh wl'
Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.

ܥܕ ܐܬܐ ܐܢܐ ܐܬܚܦܛ ܒܩܪܝܢܐ ܘܒܒܥܘܬܐ ܘܒܝܘܠܦܢܐ
wbywlpn' wbbewth' bqryn' 'thkhpT 'n' 'th' ed
Until I come, pay attention to reading, to exhortation, and to teaching.

ܘܠܐ ܬܒܣܐ ܒܡܘܗܒܬܐ ܕܐܝܬ ܒܟ ܗܝ ܕܐܬܝܗܒܬ ܠܟ ܒܢܒܝܘܬܐ ܘܒܣܝܡ ܐܝܕܐ ܕܩܫܝܫܘܬܐ
dqshyshwth' 'yd' wbsym bnbywth' lk d'thyhbth hy bk d'yth bmwhbth' thbs' wl'
Don’t neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the elders.

ܒܗܠܝܢ ܐܬܗܓܐ ܘܒܗܝܢ ܗܘܝ ܕܬܬܝܕܥ ܠܟܠܢܫ ܕܠܩܕܡܝܟ ܐܬܐ ܐܢܬ
'nth 'th' dlqdmyk lklnsh dththyde hwy wbhyn 'thhg' bhlyn
Be diligent in these things. Give yourself wholly to them, that your progress may be revealed to all.

ܘܐܙܕܗܪ ܒܢܦܫܟ ܘܒܝܘܠܦܢܟ ܘܚܡܣܢ ܒܗܘܢ ܟܕ ܗܠܝܢ ܓܝܪ ܬܥܒܕ ܢܦܫܟ ܬܚܐ ܘܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܫܡܥܝܢ ܠܟ
lk dshmeyn wl'ylyn thkh' npshk thebd gyr hlyn kd bhwn wkhmsn wbywlpnk bnpshk w'zdhr
Pay attention to yourself, and to your teaching. Continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
